Deputy, Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS), NASA Johnson Space Center

Dr. Regina Blue serves as the Deputy Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) Project Office at the Johnson Space Center (JSC), a NASA initiative working with several American companies of varying sizes to deliver science and technology to the lunar surface to build a robust commercial lunar exploration economy. Dr. Blue project began working for NASA as a engineer and has held positions D ata S ystems including, chair ing boards,
performing Shuttle and Station cohardware integrat ion manager, serving as Group Lead.

Additionally, she has held in increasing complex ity Lab Education Projects , that include and Level IV Project positions of leadership Manager, ISS National ISS Integration Manager Director of Office of Agency Council Staff at NASA HQ, Baseline Performance Manager for the NASA’s Associate Administrator, ISS Utilization Process manager, and Acting Deputy Division Chief for Astromaterials Research and Exploration division.

Dr. Blue has received numerous awards for her work and leadership; including, group achievement and innovation commendations being awarded the Michael Branch Leadership Award by the Black Engineers of the Year Award Conference, and most recently the Outstanding Leadership Medal at JSC.

Dr. Blue is a native Houstonian and earned her bachelor’s and m aster’s degrees of science from the University of Houston in Mathematics and Instructional Technology, respectively She obtained her doctorate degree in Instructional Technology & Computing from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. and recently completed She is a certified in Enterprise Architecture The Yale School of Management Executive Education Women’s Leadership Program.
