Senior Director, Business Development, SAIC Civil Space
Charlie Stegemoeller joined SAIC in 2012 and is the SAIC Senior Director, Business Development for the Civil Space Operation. He is responsible for developing business practices and applications for implementation of contracts in support of NASA’s missions. He provides senior oversight of delivery of services to NASA including ongoing solutions and introducing best practices tools and techniques to NASA counterparts including Systems Engineering and Integration, Digital Engineering, and Program Management. He began his career as a NASA civil servant in 1985 at the Johnson Space Center and served in execution of the Space Shuttle, Space Station, Human Research, and Constellation programs. He is a member of and served as the 2021 Chair of the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership Board of Directors, as part of the Executive Committee for the American Astronautical Society, a member of the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department Advisory Council in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University, and as a Community Member on the HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake Board of Trustees.
