Mary Lynne Dittmar
Executive Vice President for Government Affairs, Axiom Space
Dr. Mary Lynne Dittmar is an internationally-known expert in human space exploration, beginning with her work on the International Space Station in the 1990’s. In 2015 she founded and served for over 5 years as President and CEO of the Coalition for Deep Space Exploration, an industry group supporting NASA’s programs in deep space exploration and science. Previously she served on the National Research Council Human Spaceflight Committee, and recently completed a 6-year appointment to the National Academies Space Studies Board. Currently she serves on the U.S. National Space Council’s Users’ Advisory Group and Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee for the FAA. Most recently Dr. Dittmar joined Axiom Space, which is building the world’s first commercial space station, where she is Executive Vice President for Government Affairs. She is also a founding member of the ASCEND Guiding Coalition.
