David Callaway

Dr. David Callaway serves as Chief of New Mission Development for the Department of Defense Space Test Program, DoD Human Space Flight Payloads Office. He leads efforts to expand department research access to human-rated spaceflight platforms, including the International Space Station (ISS) and Artemis program missions.
As a subject matter expert in space experimentation, Dr. Callaway supports agencies across the DoD and serves as an interagency representative, advancing collaborative research initiatives in human spaceflight environments. He is currently leading STP efforts to leverage emerging commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) destinations in a post ISS environment for DoD research capabilities.
