The 2022 ASCEND Diverse Dozen

ASCEND is pleased to announce the 2022 Diverse Dozen. The brainchild of astrodynamicist Moriba Jah, co-founder/chief scientist at Privateer and associate professor of Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University of Texas, the Diverse Dozen (D12) is the exclusive ASCEND community of thought leaders and activists whose intellectual and emotional commitment to keeping the off-world environment free of debris knows no bounds.

This year’s group represents 10 different countries, including France, Italy, Germany, Pakistan, Japan, India, Malaysia, Australia, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Each member of the 2022 ASCEND D12 will deliver a thought-leadership presentation of their vision for space during the in-person component of 2022 ASCEND on Tuesday, 24 October 2022, 9:45–11:15 PDT. The META session will be available to all in-person attendees and streamed on our virtual platform!
