Summit Tracks

With curated tracks on topics you care about most, each summit lets you choose your own adventure.

So whether you decide to dive deep into one track for the entire event, or you explore a little bit of everything this summit has to offer, you should come away with new insights and relationships.

This track is exclusive to registrants of the November ASCEND event (REGISTER HERE!). The content in this track has been selected from the more than 600 submissions we received from the community through the ASCEND Call for Content and reflects the depth of analysis and diversity of thought that will be featured during the apex event in November.

Space Traffic Management

As the traffic on orbit increases, there is a growing need for a safe and standardized system of operations and management. This series of curated talks will take on the challenge of space traffic management from the perspective of academia, commerce, government, and technology.

Track Sponsor:

Earth Observation for Global Good

Organized and led by the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, this track will feature curated presentations and panels that explore the use of Earth observation data collected from space and made openly available in the pursuit of civil society benefits.

21st Century Workforce

The space workforce of the future is already being trained today. This track will explore innovative initiatives in higher education that will provide the breadth and depth of knowledge that emerging leaders need to invent, build, and maintain our off-world future.

Enabling the Future

Building an off-world future that is open to all will require profound advances in not only the enabling technologies, but also in our efforts toward inclusion. Sessions in this track will examine both aspects as they envision the systems we will deploy and the community that will deploy them.

In addition to the five session tracks, above, this ASCENDxSummit will feature a bonus Professional Development track that will link to an external training and certification course for the Systems Tool Kit (STK) software suite, hosted by AGI (separate registration required).
