COVID-19 and the Space Community

Travel and health concerns regarding COVID-19 have caused many long-standing space conferences and space tradeshows to cancel in the near-term, including several American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) events.

As this pandemic continues to affect people and communities around the world, AIAA recognizes that now, more than ever, we must be responsible global citizens and work together for the greater good.

To demonstrate our commitment to the safety and well-being of the space community—and to provide a forum for other space conference attendees and exhibitors whose events have unfortunately been canceled in the Spring of 2020—AIAA is reminding attendees of its money-back guarantee to its newest event—ASCEND, which stands for Accelerating Space Commerce, Exploration, and New Discovery.

ASCEND will be held 16-18 November 2020 in Las Vegas and is designed to unite the global space community under one roof to advance the building of our off-world future.

We are optimistic that the uncertainty caused by COVID-19 will be resolved before this event in November, and we invite researchers, investors, business leaders, students, and the entire space community to come to ASCEND in order to ensure you have a forum to continue to advance your work.

For more information about how you can confidently lock-in your savings to ASCEND now, risk-free, before prices go up after 30 April 2020, visit ascend.events/rates.
