Scott Trapp is director of diversity outreach for Lockheed Martin Corporation and has been in this role for the last 5 years. In this capacity, he is responsible for leading the Corporation’s corporate diversity and inclusion outreach strategies to grow relationships with strategic partners and help position Lockheed Martin as an employer of choice. His role incorporates Diversity Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) outreach and Minority Serving Institution initiatives as well as, leading national diversity events such as Black engineer of the Year (BEYA), Society of Asian Scientist and Engineers (SASE), and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE)
Scott has over 20 years of experience leading Talent Acquisition organizations and leading diversity outreach efforts, primarily in the Utility and Nuclear space before joining Lockheed Martin.
Scott is currently the executive chair on the board for Advancing Minorities in Engineering (AMIE) in addition to serving in an advisory role with the Ron Brown organization.
