Patricia Cooper currently works as a consultant after previously holding a position as VP of Satellite Government Affairs at SpaceX where she led regulatory and licensing activities. In addition, Cooper was VP of Government Affairs at Intelsat and spent 7 years as the President of the Satellite Industry Association, directing policy and advocacy efforts.
Cooper regularly testifies before congress and has held seats on several expert advisory committees for the US government. She has acted as an expert contributor to the World Trade Organization and the North American Free Trade Agreement. Cooper spent her undergraduate years at Kansas State University and received bachelor’s degrees with honors in Political Science and German. She holds a master’s in International Economics from the School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University.
