ASCEND attendee Thomas A. E. Andersen, CEO of the Danish Aerospace Company A/S, is seeking partners to advance human spaceflight with their medical and wearable technologies

Thomas A. E. Andersen, CEO of the Danish Aerospace Company A/S

Why I am going to ASCEND

We are living in an exciting time. I have been involved in human spaceflight activities for more than 30 years, and it has dramatically evolved in the past ten years. At ASCEND, I have the opportunity to explore new opportunities and to sincerely make a difference in defining the next ten years of human space flight by connecting with like-minded individuals and building partnerships.

The goal of Danish Aerospace Company is to support a continued and expanded human presence in space and other extreme environments and use our expertise to improve the quality of life on Earth

Who I want to meet

I’m hoping to connect with company and institutional representatives that both want to send private citizens into Earth orbit and on suborbital space flights. I want to build relationships with individuals who are genuinely interested in advancing the human commercial space flight sector.

What I  hope to achieve

A lot of the other conferences usually have a very diverse focus on both small satellites, security, aviation, and aerospace, to name a few. Since my company is international, I want specific and comprehensive content that is commercially and internationally focused on human space flight

Ten years ago, human spaceflight was the work of government institutions like NASA and the European Space Agency. But today, there’s a lot of new actors in human spaceflight. I hope ASCEND will be the new conference that becomes the focal point for new industries to collaborate on human spaceflight.

Hopefully, we here can find new partners with which we together can develop innovative technologies that support the presence of humans in space and that have applications in extreme environments on Earth.

Share your dreams of tomorrow

Your entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, technical innovations, and passion for aerospace play an important role in both advancing life on earth and building our off-world civilization. Like Thomas, we invite you to share your vision for what that future will look like and how we’ll get there.
