Keeping you safe at ASCEND
AIAA looks forward to safely welcoming conference attendees back to in-person events this fall. The AIAA team has developed a comprehensive health and safety plan to help keep attendees as safe as possible. The AIAA Health and Safety Policy was developed with expert input based on the current understanding of the science of the COVID-19 virus and its current variants. As the science and official guidance changes, AIAA will update its policy. The AIAA Health and Safety Pass requires those attending an event in-person to submit either proof of full COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test result within 72 hours prior to arrival at the event.
“AIAA is committed to providing our community with a safe meeting environment. We ask that you share the responsibility by following the guidelines for healthy participation during our events. We believe that each of us plays an integral role in ensuring the health and safety of all. We want everyone to benefit from AIAA events, so we will offer a virtual option to attend ASCEND for those who cannot obtain an AIAA Health and Safety Pass to attend in person,” said Dan Dumbacher, AIAA Executive Director.
Detailed instructions on how to obtain an AIAA Health and Safety Pass will be provided via email after you have registered. For questions regarding this plan, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
